Consumer Products - Business Development Manager - Food
Miami, Florida or open to Remote in the US.
$100k-$125K, benefits, 3-weeks PTO and 401K match
**Must have experience selling to Retail Buyers in large Supermarket Chains in the US**
They have engaged ttg Talent Solution to find their next Retail Business Development Manager, who will focus on new retail businesses such as Target both small, mid-size, and large retail grocery and big box stores. Reports: to the President
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from University or College Graduate
- Professional Sales & Management Training, desired (from a company or coursework)
- A dynamic proven persistent personality is driven to excel.
- 5 years of sales and sales management experience in the food industry (ideally protein based). Specifically CPG
- Minimum 6 years of successful Key Account management experience.
- Highly refines the ability to manage, motivate, communicate and negotiate.
- Skilled in collaborative decision-making.
- Analytical and creative with above-average computer skills.
- Bilingual English /Spanish (helpful)
- Analytical and creative with above-average computer skills.
- Experience with CRM software
- An accomplished sales rep with a history of selling over goals
- Must be available to be on-site in Miami and available to travel domestically
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
Position Description
- Expand the reach of retail accounts in USA and Canadian markets
- Target both small, mid-size, and large retail grocery and big box stores
- Gain distribution of the product line
- Aggressive growth of new business -10 million in sales 1st year and 20 million in the second year.
- 1st year 10 new retail accounts
- Manage Specific existing National Key accounts.
- Establish comprehensive programs.
- Negotiate pricing and promotional activities.
- Establish and execute the company’s strategic retail sales goals.
- Offer strategic vision on new and innovative ways to market and expand the portfolio of products.
- Base Salary (commensurate with experience) $100k-$125K Plus 25% Bonus Opportunity.
