Background: Our client, a fast-growing Ketamine Infusion Clinic is currently expanding into integrative psychiatry and psychotherapy services, and has engaged us to find their next Patient Care Coordinator for their upcoming second location in Davenport, IA
As a Patient Care Coordinator, You Will greet patients, gather personal and insurance information, and verify their prescription or referral. You Will ensure the patient feels at ease and that you answer any questions they may have about our treatments we offer at our facility or scheduling options. You Will also describe and explain various financial options through our care network. You Will ensure our patient’s information remains confidential.
Primary Functions:
• Greet patients
• Gather personal information and input into our electronic medical records system
• Obtain insurance information and verify coverage
• Explain out-of-pocket costs and available financing payment options
• Discuss and answer questions regarding our various treatment services
• Schedule appointments
• Maintain patient confidentiality
Requirements and Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED certificate, Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• 1 years of health care front office, intake, or billing experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to multitask and work independently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
License/Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) (Preferred)
Education about ketamine use in psychiatry will be provided as part of the role would be to help and
inform patients in this area.
