About the Role
 
We are representing a globally active leader in aircraft parts and inventory services, catering to a wide array of industry players including airlines, OEMs, MROs, and distributors. 
They are now seeking a DSF Inspector to ensure adherence to stringent quality assurance standards in the handling and processing of incoming and outgoing aircraft materials and documentation. This is a pivotal role within a dynamic logistics and operations team, essential to maintaining the integrity of the supply chain and ensuring customer satisfaction across more than 140 countries.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed visual inspections of incoming and outgoing aircraft parts and related documentation.
• Verify materials against purchase or repair orders, identifying and escalating any discrepancies or non-conformities.
• Confirm part identification, physical condition, quantity, and documentation for quality compliance.
• Use forklifts to safely retrieve/store inventory components as needed.
• Input and validate part information in the company’s inventory management system.
• Follow strict ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protocols during handling of sensitive items.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team on process improvements and compliance initiatives.
• Pack and prepare items for shipment using industry-standard procedures and packaging guidelines.
• Ensure complete and accurate shipping documentation is included with each dispatch.
• Handle air waybills, shipping documentation, and logistics coordination for pickups and deliveries.
• Digitize all relevant documentation and images into the company’s internal system.
• Communicate operational or quality issues to supervisors promptly.
• Participate in special projects and additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience handling aircraft parts is preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO or AS quality standards is a plus.
• Experience with domestic and international shipping regulations.
• Working knowledge of carrier systems (e.g., FedEx, DHL, UPS).
• Forklift certification and HazMat training are considered advantages.
• Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office suite.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Product Line Manager to lead the go-to-market efforts for a prominent aviation services company's Used Serviceable Material (USM) portfolio specific to Pratt & Whitney engines. This role combines technical acumen with a commercial mindset to drive revenue, optimize engine inventory, and support customer satisfaction across global markets.
This individual will be responsible for developing competitive strategies, collaborating across functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. A passion for aviation, sharp analytical skills, and deep familiarity with Pratt & Whitney engines are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for the USM product line to drive market penetration and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Sales, Repairs, and Executive teams to provide technical support and enhance leasing and sales efforts.
• Assist with engine and inventory evaluations during the pre-purchase phase to determine viability and potential returns.
• Oversee engine teardown processes, coordinating with service centers to reduce capital exposure while optimizing part recovery.
• Design pricing models and support bidding activities to equip sales teams with effective market positioning tools.
• Analyze FAA Airworthiness Directives (ADs) and OEM Service Bulletins for their impact on current and prospective engine components.
• Conduct detailed audits of LLP summaries, ADs, and technical documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and data accuracy.
• Deliver post-sale support and address customer concerns to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
• Perform other tasks aligned with the business's strategic and operational goals.

Core Competencies and Skills

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of jet engine Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPCs) and Engine Shop Manuals (ESMs).
• Strategic decision-making capabilities rooted in technical expertise and market knowledge.
• Experience managing multiple international transactions and customer relationships.
• Established network within the USM and Pratt & Whitney engine markets.

Experience and Education

• Minimum of 5 years of product management experience in the aerospace industry.
• Specialized knowledge of Pratt & Whitney engines and their aftermarket component lifecycle.
• Familiarity with FAR (Federal Aviation Regulations) and aerospace quality assurance standards.
