Job Description:
The Pharmacy Data Entry Technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering prescription information into the pharmacy operating system. This role requires prior experience in Long Term Care (LTC) Pharmacy Data Entry, as well as strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system, ensuring error-free processing.
  • Verify prescription details, including dosage calculations and cycle fill coding.
  • Manage and triage incoming faxed prescriptions for timely processing.

DESCRIPTION:
We're seeking a highly skilled Surgical Physician Assistant (PA) to join a premier healthcare team in South Florida. This is an opportunity to become part of a compassionate and innovative environment where patient outcomes and continuity of care are top priorities.
As a Surgical PA, you will collaborate closely with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to deliver expert care across the pre-, intra-, and post-operative spectrum. You'll perform patient assessments, assist in surgery, manage inpatient rounds and consultations, and carry out clinical procedures both in the operating room and in outpatient settings.
Your expertise will directly support improved surgical outcomes and patient satisfaction. This role demands critical thinking, precision, and a deep commitment to quality care—qualities that are at the heart of who we are at ttg Talent Solutions.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct comprehensive surgical history and physical exams
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and formulate individualized care plans
  • Assist surgeons in the operating room as first assistant
  • Perform surgical and clinical procedures under supervision (direct or indirect)
  • Manage patient care in pre-operative clinics, during hospitalization, and post-discharge
  • Write prescriptions, including controlled substances (as permitted under Delineation of Privileges)
  • Collaborate with nursing, administrative, and medical teams to coordinate seamless patient care
  • Provide patient and family education in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Participate in hospital rounds, consultations, wound care, and on-call rotations (weekdays, nights, and weekends)
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, including CME compliance and grand rounds participation
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Licenses & Certifications:
  • Current Physician Assistant license (Florida)
  • NCCPA Certification
  • DEA Registration (as required for specialty)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), as per specialty or function
Additional Qualifications:
  • Must meet Florida CME and licensure requirements
  • Eligible for medical staff credentialing and privileges in assigned practice locations
  • Excellent clinical judgment and surgical technique
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
  • Demonstrated passion for patient care, with a focus on safety and outcomes
Experience:
  • Surgical or hospital-based PA experience preferred (minimum experience level may vary based on specialty)
 
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to manage high-acuity patient care in both OR and clinical settings
  • Willingness to provide on-call coverage as part of the care team rotation

Description:
 
The Interventional Cardiovascular Technologist plays a crucial role in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, assisting physicians with interventional and surgical procedures. This position requires expertise in patient preparation, cardiac monitoring, imaging technology, and direct patient care.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment, as well as specialized imaging and technical devices used for cardiovascular interventions. Additionally, they will serve as a patient educator, advocate, and liaison, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
 
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Assist in preparation, intra-procedural, and post-procedural patient care in the EP lab.
  • Operate and maintain radiographic, fluoroscopic, and specialized imaging equipment used in cardiac procedures.
  • Monitor and document physiological data during invasive procedures.
  • Ensure radiation safety protocols and proper imaging techniques are followed.
  • Manage and prepare specialized cardiovascular supplies and devices.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality control standards.
  • Complete a minimum of 12 CEUs annually, including at least 10 related to cardiovascular technology.
 
Requirements:
  • Education:
    • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular or Cardiopulmonary Technology program OR
    • Diploma, associate, or bachelor's degree in health sciences (including but not limited to cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, or nursing).
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Licenses & Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required).
    • Eligible to sit for the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) exam after one year of full-time work experience in invasive cardiovascular technology.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of one year of experience in invasive cardiovascular technology preferred.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, electrophysiology, and interventional procedures.
    • Proficiency in radiation safety practices and imaging technology.
    • Strong ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment.
    • Effective communication and teamwork skills
