Job Description
As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will play a key role in leading the design, development, and integration of both off-the-shelf and custom-built systems. This role requires a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach to deliver high-quality, secure, and efficient code that drives automation, enhances integration, and fulfills organizational objectives.
You will collaborate across IT departments and business units to ensure seamless development operations while mentoring and managing internal and external resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, technical leadership, and a passion for innovation and optimization in cloud-based environments.
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across business and IT teams to ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
• Oversee product design, development, and full lifecycle operations, including maintenance and post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with teams across cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, data management, and application integrations to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor development teams, fostering growth and ensuring adherence to best practices in DevSecOps and agile methodologies.
• Automate manual processes to drive operational efficiency using appropriate tools and platforms.
• Define, enforce, and improve processes, procedures, and policies for software development lifecycles.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and software licensing agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance.
• Proactively identify and resolve system issues to minimize business interruptions.
• Deliver secure, stable, and scalable solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in full-stack software development.
• Proficiency in:
• Front-End: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Back-End: Python, Ruby, PHP, or equivalent programming languages.
• Database Management: SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deployment and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong understanding of operating systems, web servers, and API integrations.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing teams and driving technical projects to completion.
• Ability to automate workflows and operationalize software platforms for production deployment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering scalable and efficient solutions.
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with tools like JIRA, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Developer).
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and implementation.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) and healthcare systems integration.

Job Description:
The Engine Technical Manager is responsible for managing shop visits, coordinating repairs, creating and revising cost estimates, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements. The role involves providing engine status updates, preparing invoices, and maintaining accurate records in company systems. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and clients effectively.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Shop Visit Management:

• Oversee engine shop visits, coordinating inspections and repairs.
• Conduct shop visits with customers and manage visit schedules.

Customer & Contract Management:

• Act as a liaison between customers and the engine maintenance team.
• Review and analyze customer-proposed work scopes.
• Prepare and supervise cost estimates for repairs.
• Ensure compliance with maintenance contracts and quote deadlines.

Reporting & Documentation:

• Provide engine repair progress updates and status reports to customers.
• Prepare inspection findings reports and revise cost estimates as needed.
• Coordinate with the accounting team to prepare and send invoices.
• Maintain up-to-date data in Quantum for accurate financial tracking.
• Reconcile invoices in a timely and accurate manner.

Customer Satisfaction & Improvement:

• Administer customer satisfaction surveys, analyze results, and implement improvement plans.

Qualifications:
Mandatory:

• Strong technical knowledge of Turbofan engines such as CFM56, V2500, CF6, or similar.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience as an engine shop or airline engineer, inspector, or technician.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Industrial preferred), Project Management, Financial Engineering, Sales and Marketing, or equivalent.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of Quantum and Salesforce software.
• Bilingual proficiency.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong consulting and negotiation skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%).
