Job Summary
As
Associate Director, Government Pricing, you will be responsible for leading the Pricing team in validation, calculation, and analytics to ensure compliance and integrity, along with insights to enable good business decisions. Responsible for maintaining compliance with all government pricing calculations and reporting along with interpretation of statutes, rules, and laws pertaining to government pricing. Reviews, validates, and approves work product from Senior Analyst, Government Pricing. Recommend, review, and approve process documentation related to government pricing calculation methodologies and procedures. Manage the development, implementation, and utilization of government pricing systems and related software applications.
Job Responsibilities - Building out and developing the strategy for government pricing and compliance related to our growing Pharma portfolio.
- Develop, manage, and maintain compliance for all government pricing calculation methodologies.
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely reporting of all government pricing calculations.
- Responsible for ensuring contract compliance in accordance with laws and regulations, while representative as an expert in Government Programs and all statutory pricing, regulations and policy. Oversee accurate calculations and reporting of Average Manufacturer Price (AMP), Average Selling Price (ASP), Best Price (BP), and Non-Federal AMP (NFAMP), FCP, FSS, PHS, etc.
- Work with other business functions to provide insight on government programs and financial impact analysis resulting from price changes, contracting strategies and other business decisions affecting GP calculations
- Manage and lead direct report(s) who analyze and process Medicaid and Coverage Gap claims
- Lead the interpretation of statutes, rules, laws, and regulations pertaining to government pricing to ensure compliance with government regulations
- Ensure SOPs are documented, relevant, and up-to-date
- Design forecasting models and prepare monthly and quarterly Medicaid rebate liability forecasts
- Identify and advise leadership of risks and opportunities related to government pricing as they relate to potential business strategies and initiatives
- Attend industry-related seminars and training to ensure compliance knowledge is current and up to date.
- Lead, manage, mentor and develop government program team.
- Proactively identifies and resolves compliance issues, questions, or pricing requests received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.

- Review BDL proposed deals and provides insights related to Government Pricing, Operations and proposed language that enhances compliance and profitability.
- Formulating and implementing recommendations in key strategic and tactical areas which impact price calculation to support long- and short-term business goals.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements - Minimum of 6+ years of pharmaceutical experience and 2+ years of government pricing experience ( branded or generic)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Leadership qualities required
- Must have experience in government pricing
- Must be self-motivated and possess strong business ethics for handling confidential information
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to make independent judgment decisions
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Comfort working with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Open to local candidate or remote candidate from the East or Central time Zones
Compensation: Salary up to 5K + 15%: plus 20 PTO days off, 10 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, and 4- days off due to the company closure at the end of the year, plus 80% subsidized health benefits and a 401k match 100% of the first 4% of your eligible compensation contributed to the plan; as well as, being eligible to participate in the company’s Equity Plan
