  • Analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations, and drawings for expressways, limited-access facilities, and arterial/local roads, adhering to DOT and local jurisdiction criteria.
  • Develop 3D roadway models using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and/or Open Roads.
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines throughout project execution, ensuring alignment with project scope and goals, and propose innovative design solutions.
  • Assign, track, and review tasks of technicians, designers, and engineers, ensuring projects adhere to schedules and conducting quality control of final work products.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports and contract documents, performing peer reviews on team members' work.
  • Review and verify contract plans and calculations from other teams and external sources for compliance with transportation design codes and specifications.
  • Serve as the Engineer-of-Record for mid-size and miscellaneous transportation designs.
  • Present team design solutions in internal meetings and contribute to presentations with external stakeholders.
  • Support marketing efforts through resume updates, providing technical proposal support, and participating in campaigns.
  • Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks, including time sheets, expense reports, and labor management.
  • Take ownership of career development by seeking and providing feedback, learning and teaching new skills, and setting professional goals.
  • Mentor and support the development of team members, modeling positive and professional behaviors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
